every year I visit the gornergrat 3-4 times. this time I left the train on the riffelberg, as I wanted to finally visit the riffelhaus. a beautiful terrace awaits the gastronomy on the garden furniture can be enjoyed in the unique mountain world. the reception was very friendly. the menu is pissed with a few delicacies. with flame cake after various variations. I chose the walliser plate with heida wein as a guide. since this is my fourth day of the Walliser, it had to be a walliser plate. it is exciting how this food is dressed differently everywhere. today's teller was the most versatile with a distance. the various meats, cheeked cheese, sausage was very delicious. I had dried fruits like apricots and as a garnish. everything was rounded with walnuts. all this was missing from the three other restaurants. a pleasure. to close an espresso, also here the first time in 4 days a home bag as a supplement. I very much appreciate such attention. the service was always very attentive and accommodating. the price and performance ratio is consistent. I'll be back.

we have made during a hike on the beautiful terrace with a view of the matthorn rast. the outdoor area is equipped with high quality garden furniture. we have settled in the lounge area. we just ordered a housewurst with brot. a beautiful platelet with cut open sausage, dry fruits, nuts, silver-bellied and small as well as plenty of broth. on the card is listed a surcharge per add-on deck of chf 1.50, which has not been charged to us, although we have only ordered a portion. the price/performance ratio is sensational in terms of quantity and quality at a price of chf 8.50. the beverage prices move in consideration of the situation for disassembled in normal range. the restaurant riffelhof makes a new and stylish impression. the service is friendly and professional.We were surprised by our visit very positiw.
Well the view is to die for on the patio. You can come right off the slopes and sit and recharge. The Rosti is good. Not a big menu but some nice choices. Even if you just want to grab a drink I highly recommend it
Had lunch here recently and were very impressed with the fresh food as well as the view. I've seen a few negative comments about service but we had no issues. On a sunny day I would highly recommend taking the gondola up and enjoy a truly wonderful swiss experience.
We have had a wonderful time here. First time in the Swiss Alps and what a place to stay at.Staff were very friendly, happy and helpful and the rooms and meals were great. It is a long way from Australia but, definitely worth it. Hope to come again.
We have liked most places in Zermatt but family lunch at this restaurant was a disaster Bad service, bring main course at same time than starters Then take back plates and bring them cold Strongly recommend not to visit

We come back here often. The reception and the kitchen are very good. the fantastic terrace facing the cervin.
