Our hotel recommended this restaurant. The food was very good but our overall experience was poor because of the noisy environment. We had premium outdoor seating. That is to say, we had the table with the best view of the Matterhorn. Unfortunately, it was right next to the children's play area; and there were SIX children bouncing on a trampoline the whole time we were there (about 2 hours). As you might imagine with that many kids playing, at any given time there were children laughing, screaming, and crying. I think the owner may live there and this may be the only place for their children to play. I'm sympathetic to small business owners with children. It's tough to balance a business with your personal life. However, tourists paying top dollar for a good meal should not have to suffer through 2 hours of 6 kids playing loudly. At a minimum, there should be a barrier between the dining area and play area. Plant some bushes or something. As for the food, I have to say it was very good. I had the cordon blue and my wife had a curry soup and salad. It would have been an excellent experience for us were it not for the noise. One last thing; due to some construction in the area, there is a big crane in between the restaurant and the Matterhorn. It's not quite blocking the view - but almost. Considering the steep prices, it's another reason you might want to avoid this restaurant.
