Pizzeria San Giovani

Great pizza in a really nice restaurant where also the bier is of good quality. Both the food and drink are reasonably priced and the staff are very friendly. It's well worth a visit.

Faute de restaurants autour de l'hotel, on peut manger une pizza.Le patron est sympa, le vin trés ordinaire au verre.Vous êtes en contrebas de la rue et nous étions les seuls !

Pizza gut nur die dreckigen und stinkenden WCs gehen nicht. Da möcht ich nicht die Küche sehen. ..Bedienung freundlich

We stopped at the Pizzeria San Giovani on the way back from the Film Festival in the Rathausplatz.There was indoor and outdoor seating and as we chose the latter I cannot comment on the interior of the restaurant.At the time of our visit it was fairly quiet although as I mentioned earlier the Film Festival was on and most of Vienna seemed to be there.The food was good, but nothing special, and the service was attentive and friendly.At the time of our visit my wife was in a bit of pain from her foot and so the proprietor was kind enough to phone a taxi for us at the end of our meal to take us back to our hotel.We had a chicken with mushroom and cheese, 2 turkey schnitzel, mineral water, sprite and 2 chianti’s for 45.80 euros (£35.43).

We visited the Pizzeria San Giovani after visiting the Film Festival in Rathausplatz.The waiter/owner? was extremely polite and at the end of the evening phoned a taxi for us to return to out hotel as my wife was having trouble walking.There is outdoor and indoor seating but, unfortunately, I cannot review the decor/ambience/facilities of the inside of the restaurant as I did not venture in.The restaurant was not busy but as I mentioned the Film Festival was on and so most of Vienna seemed to be there.The food was fine but nothing special, no negativities just your standard local restaurant.We had a chicken with mushroom and cheese, 2 turkey schnitzel, mineral water, sprite and 2 chianti’s for 45.80 euros (£35.43).

Happened to come a cross this little restaurant by accident and I have to say it’s not bad. Service was great, while the food was okay. Ordered the Carpaccio as an appetizer. We’ve had better, nothing special about this one. Parma pizza was good as...well. Definitely worth coming back for the pizza. Although there’s nothing really special about it.

San Giovani's is near the hotel we stay at when we come to Vienna. We walked by many times but decided to give it a try. We were not disappointed. We had a pizza with arugula and it was delicious. My sister had a red...wine she said was good. I had a himbeer soda that was delicious! The waiter was so kind and friendly. He saw I was taking a picture of my sister and rushed over to get a picture of us together. We felt at home. The prices were very reasonable. A great experience!!
