Patara - Fine Thai Cuisine

Fabulous Thaï restaurant, a good surprise. We enjoyed our dinner and even told thé waiter this was the best thaï restaurant we had ever been to, it s true! A bit expensive compared to other asian restaurants but it definitely worths the price.

Patara seems like a great date night experience. I was by myself, but I saw several couples there who were having a nice night. I started with the spring rolls and moved on to the coconut braised beef. Both were excellent. The beef is not a big dish, so if you're hungry choose an appetizer as well.Service was friendly and efficient. The decor is lush and comfortable. With horses clip-clopping outside and church bells ringing now and then, this is just a really nice place with great Thai food.Patara is on a curved street next to a cathedral. It is kind of easy to miss. The sign is large, but navigation around the cathedral might cause you to miss it.

Whilst I was aware that Patara, Vienna is considerably more expensive than its London counterpart, I had hoped that the standard of food and service would match those in London. Disappointing more than bad. Pad Thai and a glass of wine, €29

Ordered with their web system. Didn't get any confirmation.Sent them an e-mail and nothing! "Busy night" was their excuse.The starters came after 20 minutes. They were just o.kThe mains came an hour after we ordered them.One of them wasn't the one i ordered.So another waiting time for.me.Nice decoration for the food but over spicy,Too much salt and very small amounts of meat.To sum it up-huge disappointment !

Went tor the Thai restaurant with my boyfriend and the food was delicious. It was exactly the same we had when we visited Phuket. The service it is good and the food it is delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant if you like Thai food.

Over priced as much of Vienna is. Small portions over seasoned and very averaged quality compared to global Thai cuisine. If you don't know Thai food you would probably enjoy it.
