Located in the heart of the city in the old town. Small place, interior tipical Thai style (I would prefer a more modern / classy touch..).The owner is extremely friendly and helpful, doing a great Job! Unfortunately the staff does not have the same Level of friendliness, they are OK but not smiling, just doing their Job without Passion - a pity.The Food is good, the Tom Kha Gai is very good and tasty, the spicy Beef salad is really spicy but delicious and the fish Curry is good as well. Not the best Thai I had, but definitely a very good Level of Food. The Prices are a bit on the higher side for the type of Restaurant but of course you Need to consider the prime Location, and the Quality is good. So I can recommend it for Thai Food!

We walked by Ban Song Thai on our first night in Zurich. It smelled so good, but we thought "Weird...Thai Food in Switzerland" and dined elsewhere that night. By our last night, our curiosity got the better of us and we decided to try it.The owners have done an amazing job of recreating authentic Thai flavors and atmosphere that brought us back to our trip to Thailand. You will not be disappointed. From the amazing food to the attentive servers and beautiful presentation, our meal was perfection. The only thing missing was Mango Sticky Rice for dessert, but we were already stuffed on Khao Pad and Massaman Curry that it didn't matter.
We have visited here for dinner. I would like to thank Mr. Rickli for his personal interest and help in ensuring that our dining experience was excellent. His team and staff are well trained, warm, courteous and helpful. As vegetarians, we were assisted with options both on and off the menu karte. This is a great place to visit and enjoy authentic Thai food with that excellent Swiss hospitality that we know of!
Unfortunately that they feel the need to cheat customers out of $2 more by incorrectly charging for more expensive drinks than you order. Also witnessed staff rudely sending away clients who only asked if there is an à-la-carte possibility during the lunch buffet. Otherwise, the food is quite decent and the location is great.
This was a place very close to our hotel. Served great Authentic Thai Food. Godd portions and service. Reasonable expensive
The food is simply excellent and the wine list is pretty good without being overpriced. I went on thursday evening and it was packed. Every inch of the restaurant was used to place customers that unfortunately made it a poor dining experience. Allowing to have a little private space would allow to make this experience a really nice one.
After two weeks in Italy I thought Thai food would be a nice change. This place is round the corner from my hotel.Their buffet comprised of:(1) Tom kha ga(2) Prawn salad(3) Green curry pork (this is not commonly cooked with pork in Thailand)(4) Stir-fried chicken, which is not really pad mamuang(5) Pad Thai, which is far from classic pad Thai(6) Stir-fried vegetables which is not particularly ThaiAt CHF29.80, it is not good value. There are better Asian restaurants at better prices along Niederdorfstrasse.
I made reservations but was 20mins late. They apologized for giving our reserved table away but thankfully was still able to seat us with another couple. I had the pad thai which was really delicious. The service was fast and good. I would definitely return again.
