Service barely understood what we wanted. We tried it in English, German and Portuguese. We were a party of 10. We sat right next to a party 24. It was loud and we could hardly hear our own thoughts. When we wanted to order pizza, they told us we should order starters because they "can't serve the pizza immediately"... okay. So we ordered salads for which we did not receive Italian dressing, but olive oil and vinegar that we had to make our own sauce. Okay, when we finally got our pizzas, the orders were mixed. Due to the incompatibility we had ordered without paprika, but the pizza was peeled with paprika. Not cool. In addition, the pizzas were very wet and oily, the crust soggy, and more like a soup. To be completely fair, taste was good (6.5/10) For CHF30. Pizza, I'm unused. The location itself is very nice, centrally located, and there is a floor above the restaurant with additional seating. But we all flew up.

Love, love, love this place! I came here twice (now and both times I had a wonderful time and delicious meals! When I first came here, I had the salmon that was tender and fresh (the fish are bought daily and the ratatouille, which had a very diverse selection of vegetables, covered with a savory sauce and with a small and creamy mozzarella ball. The second time I came, I had the chicken calotte with lemon that was soft and one side of the ratatouille again. About the desserts. The first time I had fresh homemade Macaroons and the second time I had an authentic Italian strawberry gelato. I also tasted the Tiramisu and Pana cotta, which were also fantastic. Overall, I recommend the excellent food, the best service, the tasteful soft music and the cheerful ambience of this restaurant! P.S. Unfortunately, the meal is over, so I only have a photo of the drink, the averna, (a drink with a taste of wild oranges and lemons and a touch of rosemary. Can't wait to come back!!!

Eating at Vivace is an authentic Italian experience! I really enjoy eating in this sweet and cozy restaurant in Zurich. I strongly recommend the special pizzas and desserts. A warm thank you to the staff that you are always very nice, welcoming and careful on our wishes!
That is the best pizza I had in Zurich, it taste like it came right out of Naples. In addition the Service is awesome! Thank you for having us, we’re definitely coming back!
Great pizza and lasagna. Hugo cocktails were nice. Staff were Italian so friendly and very knowledgeable on Italian cuisine. We booked from Al a Carte on The Fork app. Thank you
FABULOUS little gem! We came here while staying overnight in Zurich as a group of 13. Reminded us of being in Italy. Excellent pizza, an attentive host (also the owner), and they spoke English well. The carbonara was a can’t miss, as well. Go and thank me later!
Excellent food, very friendly staff, and always happy people seated outside. What more could you ask for? They opened just before COVID lockdowns hit and had a very hard time, but they survived. I talked to the owner and he related the story. I’m glad they made it, Römerhofplatz is a much better place with Vivace.
