Nothing fancy, but good good, and reasonably priced (for Vienna) staff pleasant and friendly. Good for a quick evening meal

Went here for lunch, in the passing and it was a huge regret. The menu was variety, and we were fairly pleased to start with, however the service was slow and staff were beyond rude and unfriendly. The food was awful, and not something I would expect ever to be served to paying customers. The worst "Caesar salad" I have ever had, it was merely ungarnished lettuce on a plate with a few slices of tomato and cucumber thrown on top- a child could have produced better. The experience was made even worse after reluctantly paying for the extortionate bill, the waitress, who's service was exceptionally poor, failed to come back with our change- around €13 euros, assuming it was a tip as service was not included. This is something which is discretional not automatic- she was also very reluctant to give us it back. Would avoid this place at all costs.

I only write reviews when places are excellent or awful and sadly this fits the later criteria. I didn't have high expectations for this place, judging by how the food looked and previous bad reviews, however as we were tired from all our walking we decided to give it a chance. Don't be like us! Continue walking and go elsewhere.I would not recommend this place even to my enemy. The food is flavourless and the service is awful. I ordered the chicken Schnitzel with the potato salad and later I changed to fries, as the potato salad did not look fresh. Prior to ordering, I had asked if there was mayo in the salad and how it was made and was told it is just oil, potatoes and some onions and no mayo. I still haven't worked out why there's "a sauce" if it only has 3 ingredients. The waitress (she said her name was Katie, but she could be lying, seeing as she didn't want to give her name to us to begin with) gave us attitude when we wanted to change our potatoe salad to fries, even though we had not touch the food. She told us she would charge us for all changes and when we asked why she then came back just with the fries - no charge! We also ordered the Avocado salad which was dry, I don't even think it was fresh.The food takes forever to come and if you ask for tap water and don't buy a drink, they will charge you one Euro. This is what they did to my friend, even though I had ordered a beer. After we finished our food, the staff took forever to collect our money. We could have easily walked out and not paid and she still wouldn't have cared. The waitress started to serve other people and in the end, after about 10 minutes of waiting, my friend had to go to the waitress to pay by card. The quality of food is average at best. The service is horrendous. I would avoid eating here. Walk up a bit further and spend your money elsewhere. There are loads more places to eat I would definitely not come here again.

Went for dinner here though it would not have been my first choice. But Chez Rachid's around the corner was closed. Thought we had cunningly avoided getting ripped off but was quite mistaken, as when the bill came, 750mls of bottles water had cost €5.90 The place had been tolerable but this took the biscuit. I had liked the waiting staff though, they were most attentive. But this cheesy rip-off restaurant sucked in general.

Just had a coffee as we were exhausted after a full day touring Vienna. Coffee was amazing so was location n service. Then thought why not dinner too. The menu was great for us vegetarians. So ordered a soup pizza. Excellent! Later felt indulgent and had tiramisu..homemade...absolutely delightful! The waitress was so very sweet smiling and accomodative. Wow! Very relaxed atmosphere too! Its bang opp the opera house.

The photos in the menu look nothing like the food that arrived. The burgers were soggy and the antipasto plate had no cheese or stuffed peppers. With so many great options in Wien I certainly do NOT recommend wasting time here.

Well, actually it has been a quite good value, just to consider the location and environment itself. Overall the fries where small and it is extremely unfortunate that it has not been possible to choose small or large fries, however, on my own Cordon Bleu, the chance was given to simply replace fries with potato salad instead. Service wise it was fine, not extremely overwhelming, not bad either, the food came, we ate and left straight away. Soft drinks a little bit overpriced, no competitive wine offerings, usually I prefer to go for a glas of white wine. Anyways, we had a good time and my two guests were in a good mood.
