Visited the restaurant without reservation They managed to accommodate us which was very nice from them The lady who took the order did not speak English or very little , also she could not tell us if we were ordering too much . We were lucky that the cook himself came and explained to us that we ordered too much or the order came with rice so we canceled some orders Other than that the food was great not too hot , with good spices which did not over whelm the taste of the food Good place to have Indian food just be sure that you do not order too much
best Indian specialties at reasonable price. the local is not intoxicating, but also not unsightly. the service is very nice and helpful.
When we entered the restaurant on Friday, May 5, 2017 at 20:30, there were only a few guests. After more than 15 minutes, we had to call the waitress so that she could get us the menu. as we wanted to order shortly before 21 o'clock she joined our table and asked us to go as well as other guests. the chef has just closed the kitchen.

what I really love on maha lakshmi is her "all you can eat" midday buffet, which is inexpensive and good. included in the price are an salad as well as a mango cream as dessert, with various main dishes - what more do you want? in the summer it is nice to be able to sit outside, with views of the mountain and the naval site. also it is easy to reach because directly at the train station. Since I used to live in the same building, often took lunch there.
The dishes offered at the buffet are few (3 vegetarians and 1 fish/meat) and of medium quality. It seems like we eat an Indian dish that we find in a big store and that we would have warmed up quickly in the microwave. I'm so sick. added to this a rather antipathic and unefficient staff and very high prices for what is proposed. my recommendation: avoid.
