Always a smile to welcome you upon arrival. This small, family-run restaurant has really been raising the bar and improving after their first year in operation. The food is Chinese, Vietnamese and Korean-inspired with specialties from all three. Best of all, they are open have implemented a sumptuous mid-day buffet for CHF on Weds-Fri and CHF on Sat-Sun. The buffet usually includes their almost over-filled hot and sour soup, salad, sushi, a variety of fried and steamed starters, or main dishes, rice, noodles, and dessert. My last visit started with raviolis grillee (a respectable showing) and steamed shrimp dumplings (thin rice noodle well-filled with tasty shrimp). The boeuf croustillant seems a new presentation, with longer, more crisply fried beef strips in a light, honeyed syrup with crunchy thin veggies. Wide rice noodles Vietnamienne with shrimp were quite al dente with a good mix of veggies. The big winner of the night was Agneau sur plaque: tender lamb slices with caramelized edges served with a full assortment of veggies in a thick garlicky sauce on a sizzling platter. YUM. It is great to have a local asian restaurant always open to serve a satisfying meal.
