We were on the way to find a typical Swiss restaurant, and arrived at the lake area when our daughter discovered the Thai au Lac and said, forget the Swiss food, I want Thai now. So there we went, and ordered our food: a Beef with green curry, a chicken with yellow curry and a vegetarian dish with red curry. We found the red and yellow not to be so different, but the green curry had a distinct taste (and more spicy). The portions are generous, and the food is truly delicious. We ordered a glass of Thai wine - the Syrah rosé (we also wanted a glass of red, but they only had the rosé). Now we can say we tasted a Thai wine, but I'm afraid this is likely to be a one-off experience. Overall, highly recommended place.

The location is unbeatable on the lake shore but the atmosphere of the place is "cheap", not cozy, the service is OK but not particularly friendly or engaging. The menu selection looks attractive but in the end many of the dishes taste much the same and nothing to be compared to true thai cuisine as we know it first hand
Came here for dinner with some friends and loved the whole experience. The food is yummy and the view is spectacular. The service isn't great as some of the staff are quite rude, but it's great otherwise. Recommended.
This restaurant is well situated, easy to access with the bus or the car and then only 5 minutes walk. It is near the lake therefore it is a perfect place to be during a summer afternoon (they have a terrasse). The prices are a bit expensive, but it tastes really good and they have a lot of choices. The waitresses are nice.
Spicy food by the lake, what a great combo! The view from the terrace is absolutely stunning, the marina, the Alps down there... Good food, service with a smile! Loved it!
... it would deserve one point more. and was not the case, therefore 3 of 4. otherwise the staff is very friendly, fast and available. the red curry with shrimps was well prepared, good.
Went there on a Sunday evening, I had to ask 3 times for the menu (and wait 25 minutes to get it). The waitress was very rude. The food was okay, the Chicken with peanut cream tasted more like a curry to me. The location is nice, as well as the terrace.
Went for dinner but could not really appreciate the views that may present themselves from the terrace since were sitting near the entrance, but have heard many good things. However, everything else was average - the food was not bad but did not wow me either and the decorations are quite strange - yellow chair covers with huge bows were a bit weird. Service was quite slow, which may be due to the restaurant being full, yet the waiters remained friendly. Overall, the price is a bit too high for the food quality and sub par ambiance.
