We often have the lunch menu, either in the restaurant or as a delivery from Nam Nam Deli. It is a decent portion of a proper Indian dish (4 options to choose from) for a decent price. And if you ask for spicy they will give you proper spicy! :) I would certainly recommend! The restaurant is nice, with the inner garden that is really pleasant in summer with a deep shade.

I just dropped by for lunch. They have a pretty and cosy garden seats and a friendly staff guided me there. I had butter chicken curry and it was tasty as well as mango lassi. Lunch menu is available! I would come back!

Love this restaurant and for me the best Indian restaurant in Vienna! The food is so yummy and staff friendly! Love the Indian thali dish which is a mix of Indian food with rice and naan but also chicken with mint ! Anyway all food are tasty and delicious ! And I recommend also the mango cream for dessert!

I eat at a lot of Indian restaurants all over Europe and this is one of the best I've been to in a while...nice atmosphere, pleasant staff and a wonderful meal. Thanks

I am from Vienna and I've lived in the sixth district for a long time, in fact just across from Nam Nam. I used to go there regularly when they first opened a couple of years ago. I liked the food and the place; but this time I had a very disappointing experience.I am living in a different part of town now and so I ordered something from them because we were in the mood for it. They took the order and my number, as usual, and said it would take 40 minutes. But then they just didn't show up!They never called me or tried to get in contact with me. When I called them for the first time after about 60 minutes they said somebody is on his way and it will take only about 10 more minutes. So we waited some more but nobody came. When I called them again they said the driver was in my place but couldn't find me and had thus returned to the restaurant. Nobody ever rang my bell or tried to call me; when I mentioned that the person on the phone said he could 'freshen up' the food and bring it back after another 20 minutes. I declined.

Have not been there for a while. I noticed the white porcellain and the austrianized dishes. Samosas and Veg Pakora all soft, no crust, taste so so. Asked for spicy butter chicken, got an all creamy, non spicy dish. But service still very friendly.

This place makes great Indian food. The portion sizes are just right. We had Biryani which was well prepared. The people workig here are Indians and offer service with a smile. There is a garden behind the restaurant which they have seating area in. When the weather is nice, I would highly recommend eating there.

When this place opened, some reviewers were very enthusiastic about the authenticity of the food. Well, I can't quite see that right now. It's a nice place, friendly staff and a lovely garden. The food is good, too. It's just that it's Austrian Indian. Many dishes are very creamy (that is: cream is used), even where you wouldn't expect it. I had a vegetarian thali and all of the curries had cream in them, dhal, mixed veg and spinach - not so great if you have problems with lactose. Then, of course, as so common in Austria, fresh coriander has been replaced with parsley and if you ask for fresh chillies you get sauce that's more vinegar than anything else. The soup was a very nice vegetable soup - almost completely free of Indian spices. Don't get me wrong, I like the food - I come here at least 5, 6 times a year. It's just the same old problem with Indians in this city - they adjust to Austrian tastebuds (or what is believed to be Austrian tastebuds) too much. Hey, always room for improvement.
