Tasties

Tasties is a food court on the basement floor of the Kaufhaus shopping centre. You can choose from pizza slices, fresh pasta dishes, stir fries or coffee and cake. The portions pizza slices and all other dishes are quite generous. It is great for a family as you can easily cater for all tastes here. The dishes are slightly over priced but the quality is good. It's not the worst

could not finish the dish i ordered. the pasta was not ready , the bolognese sauce had no taste at all. not recommended !

We went there whilst on holidays in beautiful Innsbruck, however, despite its lovely surroundings, it was terrible! If you like standing in line, overpaying, & being served tasteless, soulless food, then this place is for you. Would never go there again!

Like the reviewer below, I too stumbled across this. Tasties comprises of a range of restaurant bars (e.g. Italian, Oriental, tea/coffee) and occupies part of the basement of Kaufhaus Tyrol shopping mall. It is spacious, with Spartan decor, rather reliant on artificial light (it is practically underground), and popular. The food is prepared right in front of you and the menus were affordable. I can't comment on the quality of food as I had only a cup of tea. But the waitress was friendly, even switching to English although I spoke in German!

Stumbled accross this in the Innsbruck shopping mall. Shame it's not had a review for a while......i had a thai chicken salad - really fresh salad, freshly cooked chicken while you wait and bread and all for 7.50euros. If you want to criticise maybe a little too much dressing but overall some fresh homestyle cooked food just what i was craving but still worth the 5 rating was really lovely.The rest of the family had pasta with tomato sauce or with bolognaise sauce. Found to be equally good, similar price and plenty of it.There was also currys which looked delicious too. Other stalls had pizzas and a bakery so you really could please everyone!

Good location inside the Kaufhaus shopping mall, in the ground floor. The food is fresh and directly cooked when you order. You can watch the person who cook in front of you, and that is nice experience. Just wait couple minutes and its done. Its like self service restaurant and have a cozy atmosphere.

In the new stylish shopping mall 'Kaufhaus Tyrol' is an easy accessible self service restaurant which offers great homemade pasta made in front of you with practically no waiting time (they serve also pizza and dishes from the wok which i didnt try). Perfect for a meal during or after shopping in the center of Innsbruck.
