We stopped here for lunch and shared a salad that was freshly made and a fungi and prosciutto pizza That was delicious! They were kind enough to cut it in half for us and serve it to us cut! We sat outside on The covered patio and the service was quick and attentive. It cost $42 CHF for the one pizza, shared salad and 2 small bottles of water. we noticed afterwards that there is a take out attached to the restaurant on the right corner for substantially less $$ and many locals were getting food to go and simply sitting on a bench to enjoy it!
on summer evenings well visited italian in the inner city. the more my pizza parmigiana amazed me: the teig tough and barely separable with the knife, gummy aubergines on it and much too thick cut raw ham. my wife ordered a large salat plate for 20 chf: much crooked leaf salad packli-style, some rode and kidney beans from the dose - so sorry.The unarticle has to serve as a large beer 4 dl (and safe as a rod 2.5 dl) also here around.There are many Italian restaurants in bern, among them are not excellent few. in grissino you can eat already and maybe we just chose badly. However, there are much better alternatives in stone throw distance.

We went there tonight. very pleasant service, we were well received and with a smile. staff speak French, which is easier for Francophones. have taken pizza, tagliatelles with shrimps and lemon veal escalopes. A delight! prices are correct, the terrace is very nice, on a pedestrian square. Great night for us!
at our trip to bern we tried to get some food in the il grissino at the waisenhausplatz. after 20 minutes waiting and countless passings of various services we had to give up. we were just not served. not that so many people would have liked to eat, but we just... we moved on. to the happiness!
the grissino has quite good food, and is located in a rather tourist place. I really enjoyed the courteous and well-educated service, but the price is rather high.
